Children Science Club

The centuary is an erra of knowledge and science, in time the Best knowledge with scientific approach and sharp skill is very important tools in the prevalent competitive time. The Sunday Science Club has been initiated by the NCSC – Nisarg Community Science Cetre, Gandhinagar for students interested to cross horizons of science and want to mould themselves as classic and genious persons. The students are benefitted in further achievements by just spending one hour during Sunday at the Sunday Science Club. You would be performing about 40 experiments included in your science subject’s textbook during these Sundays.

Science Practical:

Sunday science programme: Every Sunday standard V to X students will undergo science practical within their school syllabus. Students from both Gujarati and English medium schools acquire knowledge and strengthen their foundation in the field of science. About 5000 students avail benefit of the Sunday science programme.
Sunday Schedule for Standard 5th 02.00 to 03.00, Standard 6th 03.00 to 04.00 and Standard 7th 04.00 to 05.00.
– Sunday schedule for Standard 8th 09.00 to 10.00, Standard 9th 10.00 to 11.00 and Standard 10th 11.00 to 12.00.
– Every month there will be a general science activity on one Sunday in which there will be a science model or other science activity. In which the time for all class students will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.

Science hobby workshop:

The students can make good use of various holidays including Janmashtmi, Christmas, Diwali and summer vacation, etc. and avail additional benefit to acquaint with science knowledge in depth, workshops are organized on subjects of their scientific interest and develop hobby.

Industries tour:

Students would be visiting various industries to study application of science and technology.

Sky Gaze:

Students using telescope learn planetary occurrence like solar eclipse, lunar eclipse as well as celestial planets.

Nature camp/Visit :

Nature camp is organised every year. Students learn different plants, animals, birds and bio-diversity during the nature camp.

Science Project Guidance:

Students provided guidance for preparing science project included in their syllabus. Besides, guidance rendered for project preparation for educational fair including science fair, Intel science fair, western science fair, etc.

Opportunity to Participate in Diffract Science Competitions:

You can participate in various programmes organised by NCSC vizly. Science Workshop, Science Seminar, Western Science Fair, Intell Science Fair, Science Drama Festival, Gujcost Science Quize, celebration activities during World Environment Day, Earth Day, Ozone Day, etc. You will have opportunity to participate in Children Science Congress, Kishor Vaigyanik Protsahan and programmes organised by the Govt. of India / Gujarat.
